Awareness to Action – Meet the local charities

26 September, 16:30 - 19:00

Lloyd’s, Fidentia House, Walter Burke Way, Chatham, Kent ME4 4RN, Chatham, United Kingdom

Awareness to Action - The 2018 launch event supports our campaign in Chatham to raise awareness about Disabilities and how you can overcome adversity, change your life, reach new goals and provide support to our local Community.

During our 3 days, we will be welcoming speakers from a local charity MAGIC - Medway Autism Group and Information Centre which is an independent Medway-based charitable organisation providing a range of activities and events to support families living with Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other learning difficulties.

We will also be joined by speakers from BLESMA, The Limbless veterans who help all serving and ex-service men and women who have lost limbs, or lost the use of limbs or eyes, to rebuild their lives by providing rehabilitation activities and welfare support.

Members of both charities will be joining us for the evening event and will give you an opportunity to learn about their charities in more detail and how you can help support your local community.
