Dive In Festival Milan: Day I
25 September, 16:00 - 20:00
Fintech District, Via Sassetti 32, Milan, Italy
The first event of Dive In Milan will begin with opening remarks by C-level representatives from the Italian insurance companies promoting Dive In Festival’s Milan edition. The speeches will provide business cases on the progress of corporate Diversity & Inclusion strategies implemented in their respective companies.
The opening remarks will be followed by a panel discussion involving key speakers who will be able to provide different perspectives on the value of Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace. Barbara Falcomer, President of Valore D, will present valuable examples on how Diversity can enhance business productivity. Prof. Serrelli, from Bicocca University, will be able to share impactful theories on the value of Diversity in the work space from a biological point of view. Lastly, Maria Cristina Origlia, Chief editor from "Il Sole 24 Ore", will provide a much broader perspective on the ethical benefits of Diversity and Inclusion in modern organisations.
After the panel discussion, guests will be invited to take part in a networking aperitif on the iconic roof terrace of the Fintech District where, thanks to the support of the internationally renowned photographer Alberto Conti, ten successful stories of Diversity & Inclusion within insurance organisations will be identified for showcasing in the venue.
Alberto Conti’s works have been published by the most important Italian and international magazines (Time, Stern, Vanity Fair, Espresso, El Pais, Sunday Times, etc.). To tell the story of Diversity & Inclusion, Alberto will apply his clear and orderly style, bringing out the intensity and emotions fuelling the day’s discussions.
Above all, the exhibition aims to be a visual backdrop for an occasion where guests will comment freely on the topics explored during the panel discussion, as well as share ideas and best practices regarding Diversity & Inclusion initiatives within their organisations.
