Dive In London - Mind the Gap: Skills for 21st Century Insurance - Do yours fit?

26 September, 13:00 - 14:30

Aviva, St Helens, 1 Undershaft, EC3A 6AP, London, United Kingdom

There are two “gaps” predicted for the workplace in the next 20 years: People and Skills. Demographics suggest that we cannot rely on Millennials and Generation Z alone: there are simply not enough of them to fill all the predicted roles. The impact of technology and automation points to entirely new roles and skills being required. Should we be looking to attract new talent from less traditional backgrounds? How should you be preparing for this future? This event will set out the cases relating to the dual problem of people and skills and challenge the bias towards the expectation that young people have all the answers. You will then learn from organisations that are successfully implementing initiatives to tackle these problems.
