Dive In London - Size Doesn't Matter

26 September, 15:00 - 16:15

Markel, 20 Fenchurch Street, EC3M 3AZ, London, United Kingdom

Diversity and inclusion efforts in organisations have grown considerably over the last 20 years with organisations putting resources in place to ensure they can gain a competitive advantage over their peers to both attract and retain the most diverse and talented workforce. For larger organisations having a critical mass of employees can make it easier to ‘galvanise’ the troops with grass roots efforts like employee networks and setting clear goals for advancement and even putting a dedicated resource in place to help shape the efforts. However in smaller organisations it can be harder to identify where and how to get started with fewer people to support and reduced or no-funding available. This session showcases best practice for diversity and inclusion in smaller or satellite organisations, a practical and informative workshop showing that size doesn’t matter in creating a more diverse and inclusive workplace.
