Shirley Chisholm (Moderator)
Vice President and Client Executive, Marsh Canada
Shirley Chisholm is a Client Executive within Marsh’s Financial Institutions and Professional Services practice. In her role as Client Executive, she is responsible for coordinating the delivery of all Marsh resources to her clients, supervising the client team, developing marketplace strategies, and crafting solutions for her client’s business and insurance risk issues. Shirley has extensive experience providing brokerage and risk management service to credit unions, lawyers, insurance companies, investment funds, and professional services consultants. Shirley has previously served in various roles on the board of CAUFP (Canadian Association of Urban Financial Professionals) formerly UFSC (Urban Financial Services Coalition). She was honored to moderate the UFSC's 39th Annual International Summit - African America Briefing panel discussions hosted on Capitol Hill, Washington DC and also their 40th Annual Summit hosted at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Il. She has represented UFSC-Toronto in UFSC International's Oratorical competition and participated as a judge for their Intercollegiate Oratorical contest. In 2009, Shirley co-founded Ebony Women Insurance Network (EWIN) a group geared towards coaching, mentorship and networking for women of visible minorities in the Insurance and Risk Management industry. She was honored as a Black Canadian Role Model for 2016 through the Diversity Advancement Network.
