The first Dive In Festival for diversity and inclusion in insurance in 2015 has won external recognition and validation from eminent judging panels with four awards to date including:
- British Insurance Awards – The Diversity Award
- Insurance PR and Marketing Awards – Event of the Year
- Marketing Week Awards – Diversity Champion
- ENEI Awards – Highly Commended for Employee Engagement
The festival was also shortlisted for the Guardian Sustainable Business Diversity and Inclusion Award and the SABRE EMEA Cause related marketing award. Marketing Week said the festival was “bold and brave. Dive In ran a prominent event and really made their mark, ensuring they are committed for the long term.” Feedback from participants in 2015 was overwhlemingly positive, with 90% saying their understanding of Diversity & Inclusion had changed as a result of the festival and 87% felt that they now knew what they can do to improve Diversity & Inclusion at work. The 2016 Dive In festival promises to be bigger, bolder and more inclusive with events on four continents and a programme in which everyone in the insurance industry can play their part and get involved.
