Empowering Women in Insurance: Building on Momentum

25 September, 10:00 - 13:00

Al-Faisalia, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

With the World Economic Forum’s annual Global Gender Gap Report showing a deterioration in women’s economic standing over the past several years, and the recent attention given to the issue of gender parity – women have a choice – to either maximise this opportunity or watch the potential for women to slip away…

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is embracing its future and is embarking on an ambitious journey of transformation. Vision 2030 outlines the government’s strategy for a thriving economy, “pledging to build a culture that rewards determination, provides opportunities for all and helps everyone acquire the necessary skills to achieve their personal goals”

Increasing the involvement of women in the Kingdom’s workforce is an integral part of this strategy. The government has set a target of increasing participation of women in the workplace from 22% to 30% thus providing women in the Kingdom with a unique and exciting opportunity to build momentum and take a significant step forward in their careers.

In support of this Vision; Marsh in partnership with Lloyd’s of London and Mercer are hosting a Coffee, Cake and Chat forum to provide women in the Kingdom with the opportunity to hear from successful females and the reasons behind their success. They will also be sharing insight and guidance on how women can progress and thrive in their careers in today’s dynamic and changing environment.
