Over the last few years organisations and their leaders have been thrust into the spotlight more than ever before as employees, shareholders, regulators and governments demand progress on equality.

The Insurance sector is no different, Gender Pay Gap reporting shone a light on the challenges faced within the sector, not because of a lack of commitment to change but simply because are only just starting this journey. So why re-invent the wheel? We explore how organisations outside of our sector have succeeded in creating better diversity and more inclusive cultures that have the ability to close the diversity gap and share some of the actions we as a sector are involved with to shift the rhetoric for future success.

With welcome remarks from Lloyd's Chairman Bruce Carnegie-Brown this event will be moderated by BBC presenter Victoria Derbyshire, our panel of speakers will share their experiences on improving diverse representation at senior levels, tackling the ethnicity gap and creating inclusive cultures to enable diverse talent to flourish within our sector.
