One more step towards Inclusion and Diversity: Time for action

This 2018 we want to put in value and share not only what the insurance sector is currently doing in the field of Inclusion and Diversity, but also we wanted to have the participation and assistance of large multinational companies, with large experience in I&D, which will be sharing their best practices, in order to promote social innovation and generate debate among colleagues in the sector.
Therefore, on September 26th, we will have Microsoft, Accenture, Telefonica, La Mutua, AIG, Lloyd's and Hogan Lovells, in a debate moderated by Willis Towers Watson.
We are going to talk about the transverse value of LGBT + Diversity (how can they help each other and support different networks within organizations), the theme of generations; how they coexist and how this coexistence is managed between millennialls, generation X, generation Z, baby boom.
The value of Diversity, how diverse Talent is linked to Profitability. We will also discuss very interesting topics such as Mental Health, how stress, anxiety and depression are affecting silently; the strategies to promote work life balance of all the employees.
A topic that is very interesting also and that Microsoft will be talking about is regarding gender barriers in STEM careers (science, technology, engineering, mathematics). Bringing scientific and technological careers to the female student community is fundamental, given that it is an area where there are large genders differences, since only 12% of people in Spain who study these careers are women. Female talent is needed in this era of the digital economy. And finally Telefónica will talk about how to manage the diversity of thought.
In a meeting that will be moderated by Antón Serrats, Vice President of Willis Towers Watson, we want it to be an open debate so once again we’ll be giving the microphone to any attendee who wants to share their programs and thoughts in I&D with us.
